ANTA Announces 8th General Convention to be Held in Washington, D.C. on August 29–30, 2025
Washington, D.C. – The Association of Nepali Teraians in America (ANTA) is proud to announce its 8th General Convention, scheduled to take place on August 29 and 30, 2025, in Washington, D.C. The event marks a significant milestone as ANTA celebrates 20 years of service and leadership since its establishment in 2005.
As the first and one of the oldest nonprofit organizations representing the Terai-origin Nepali diaspora in the United States, ANTA has continuously worked to preserve cultural heritage, promote empowerment, and foster community unity across generations.
The two-day convention will feature:
• A Meet & Greet Dinner and Welcome Program on August 29
• A Formal Convention Program on August 30, including opening ceremonies, keynote speeches, cultural performances, community awards, and panel discussions on key topics
“This is not just an event—it’s a celebration of our shared journey and a platform for our collective future,” said Mohan Kumar Yadav, President of ANTA. “We invite everyone to be part of this historic moment.”
